Mansour Automotive is a leading Egyptian and regional automotive distributor established in 1975 by the late Mr. Loutfy Mansour. Since its inception, the company has been a pioneer in the industry, setting the stage for the development of the automotive industry across its countries of operation.

During its first year of operation, Mansour Automotive partnered with GM, becoming the largest automotive dealer in the country five years later. This partnership was further cemented in 2001 when Mansour was appointed an exclusive GM distributor - a turning point in the history of the company. Building on this success, Mansour Automotive expanded its operations to Iraq and Africa, becoming the largest distributor of GM products in the world outside of China.

Today, Mansour Automotive is associated with several leading global automotive companies and brands including GM, Isuzu Motor Corporation, Stellantis and SAIC. In 2017 Mansour Automotive extended its lineup of its passenger cars, becoming the exclusive distributor of MG and Peugeot in Egypt.

Throughout its decades of operation, the company has always prioritized the continuous development of its workforce and infrastructure. This dedicated attitude has allowed the organization to grow from a team of four in a single location, to a regional conglomerate with more than 1500 highly qualified employees trained at the Mansour Academy of Excellence, and more than 125 sales & service outlets across Egypt, Iraq, Libya, and 13 Sub-Sahara African markets.

The company’s dynamic and adaptive approach has allowed it to remain competitive in face of changing market dynamics. Despite the multitude of changes and challenges, Mansour Automotive has consistently found success and stability through its process-oriented and knowledge-based approach.

Mansour Milestones

1975

Mantra Automotive was appointed official Isuzu dealer in Alexandria and started its operations.

1983

Mantra Automotive created new record by importing 14,000 Isuzu Vehicles.

1991

Mansour Automotive was appointed Exclusive Distributor for Opel, starting the evolution of the company as a distributor.

2001

Mansour Automotive further cemented the partnership with GM, signing a new JV agreement. MAC International FZE was appointed Exclusive Distributor for Iraq.

2006

Mansour Automotive Company achieved record sales, making it the largest Chevrolet Distributor in the world.

In 1975, Loutfy Mansour’s business character and values of integrity, hard work, and confidence inspired him to branch out into a new industry: the automotive sector. A “Founding Father” whose inspiration continues to guide the success of the Mansour Group today, leaving an imprint on the prosperous and powerful partnership of Mansour Automotive with General Motors since its establishment.

Mohamed Loutfy Mansour resumed his position as Chairman of the Mansour Group on 28th October 2009 following his resignation as Minister of Transport for the Egyptian Government. He is also Chairman of Man Capital LLP a London based Family Office / Private Equity firm established to oversee the Group’s Investments globally with the focus of providing capital and strategic support to companies with attractive growth perspectives.

The Mansour operations span internationally across several major industrial sectors and can be summarised into six main business divisions: automotive, capital markets, consumer and retail, industrial equipment, logistics and services. The Mansour Group is the exclusive distributor or partner of major brands such as General Motors, Caterpillar, McDonalds, Crédit Agricole Bank, UPS, OTS and others. Currently, the Mansour Group has annual revenues of 7 billion US Dollars and employs approximately 60,000 people and has offices in over 100 countries. In 2020 the Mansour Group was selected as the number one family business in the Middle East.

Mansour is the Founder and also Chairman of the Mansour Automotive Group, the largest General Motors distributor in the world (outside of China) with distribution network in Egypt, Iraq, Libya & 13 countries in Sub Sahara Africa. He is a former Chairman of Crédit Agricole  Bank Egypt and a former member of the bank’s Global International Advisory Board (IAB). He also chairs Unatrac, the authorised Caterpillar distributor in 9 countries namely, Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda, Russia and Iraq and is the 5th largest Caterpillar dealer in the world.

Since 2012, Man Capital has acquired OTS, a logistic company located in Long Beach, California with offices in over 106 countries around the World. Man Capital has also invested in Education, Health Care, Oil & Gas, Telecommunication Towers, Real Estate, Technology and Services.  Since the creation of Man Capital, Mansour has heavily invested directly in technology – Facebook, Twitter, Uber, Spotify, Airbnb and Didi to name a few.

He is the Founder and Chairman of the Lead Foundation, a non-profit organisation providing funding to small and micro enterprises for impoverished women in Egypt, which to date has granted 3.5 million loans. He has also served as the Chairman of the Egypt-U.S. Business Council and was the President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, as well as the Secretary General of the Egyptian Centre for Economic Studies (ECES). He is a former member of the Advisory Board of the Cairo and Alexandria Stock Exchanges and the Social Fund for Development and the Board of Trustees of the American University in Cairo. He also served on the George Washington School of Business Advisory Board and the International Advisory Board of the Coca-Cola Company. He is currently serving on the Advisory Board for the Centre for Contemporary Arab Studies (CCAS) at Georgetown University and is a member of Harvard Kennedy School Dean’s Council as well as a member of the Advisory Board of Bocconi University School of Business.

Mohamed Mansour was born in Egypt on 23rd January 1948. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from North Carolina State University, USA in 1968 and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Auburn University, USA in 1971. He then taught at Auburn University until 1973. He is married and has two sons. 

ANKUSH ARORA

Group Chief Executive Officer & Board Member

Mr. Ankush Arora is an automotive professional with a rich experience of more than 30 years in the Automotive Industry spanning various OEM’s and geographies across the world. His experience includes all aspects of the Commercial side of the business, Corporate strategy, Manufacturing planning, etc. He joined Mansour Automotive Company in June, 2014 as Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) and on 1st July, 2021 assumed the role of Group CEO responsible for the groups automotive operations based in Egypt.  Under his leadership Mansour Automotive business has expanded exponentially in the last 4 years with new business being added to the group portfolio like Peugeot and MG Brand distribution in Egypt, Hero Motorcycles in Uganda, expansion of the distribution footprint in Sub Sahara Africa for GM & MG.

Prior to the assignment in Egypt, he worked with Tata Motors Limited at the Headquarters in Mumbai, India managing dual responsibility designated as – Sr. Vice President – Head of Corporate Strategy & Head of Sales, Service & Marketing for the Passenger car business unit and was a member of the Executive Committee (Ex-Comm). 

Prior to Tata Motors, he worked with General Motors since 1997 for 18 years in various capacities in India, Singapore, Shanghai and South Korea. His last assignment with General Motors was based in South Korea as Vice President - Sales, Service & Marketing for both the domestic market and export operations. He was credited with the launch of Chevrolet Brand in Korea in 2011 and laid a strong foundation for the new brand’s growth and success. During his tenure at GM Korea, international sales of both CBU & CKD grew to their highest ever levels in 2012. Prior to the assignment in Korea, he was head of GM India’s commercial operations and under his leadership sales reached their peak in 2010. In 2010, he was awarded by Economic Times of India (largest business daily in India) as India’s top 100 Brand Builders of the Country.

Prior to General Motors, he worked in the Middle East with Bhawan Automotive Center (Toyota) for six years and was awarded the best sales person globally in 1992.

He is a member of American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, on the advisory board of World Auto Retail Forum and Rotary International. 

He graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, India’s premier technical university. 

 

LOUTFY MANSOUR

Loutfy Mansour – Chief Operating Officer & Board Member 

Loutfy Mansour serves as Chief Operations Officer for Egypt Operations for Chevrolet and MG, bringing over 25 years of extensive experience in the automotive industry.

In his capacity as COO, Loutfy oversees all operational functions in Egypt, including sales, marketing, supply chain, aftersales, and marketing services.

Loutfy graduated from Babson College, earning honors in Economics, Finance, and Marketing, with a minor in Entrepreneurial Studies. He has further strengthened his executive leadership capabilities through advanced programs at Harvard, INSEAD, and Bocconi.

His professional experience includes international assignments; most notably leading the simultaneous establishment and launch of operations in Ghana and Uganda.

Loutfy serves as a Group Board Member and has been instrumental in the establishment and development of several new businesses within the Automotive Group.

He is an active member of the Automotive Marketing Information Council (AMIC), as well as the American and German Chambers of Commerce, and is recognized for combining global academic rigor with deep local market expertise. 

Hisham Abouldahab

Group Chief Financial Officer & Board Member 

Hisham Abouldahab is a prominent financial leader with over 25+ years of experience in corporate treasury across Egypt, Iraq, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Recently appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of Al Mansour Automotive Group, he is tasked with leading the financial engineering for the group's massive expansion throughout the MEA region. His expertise spans working capital solutions, FX, and credit risk management, particularly for high-liquidity companies.

A leading figure in the financial community, Hisham serves as the Chairman of the Egyptian Corporate Treasurers (ECT) and is a member of the AFP MEA Treasury Advisory Council. His strategic impact is further highlighted by his role as Vice Chairman of the Egyptian Consumer Financing Federation, where he successfully secured VAT exemptions for the industry. Known for his skill in funding structures and corporate restructuring, Hisham remains a vital voice in bridging the gap between industry and regulators.

Ehab Magdi

Group Chief Business Services Officer

Ehab Magdy is a seasoned finance executive with over 25 years of experience in financial management, operational leadership, and business transformation within the automotive sector. He holds a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation and an MBA from ESLSCA University, complemented by international exposure in the UAE and executive education at IIM Ahmedabad. He has strengthened the Group’s finance infrastructure since 2000, led SAP implementation in 2009, and established finance operations in Iraq, Ghana, and Uganda, including Mansco Peugeot and Mansour MG.

Currently serving as Chief Business Services Officer at Al Mansour Automotive, he leads group functions including Project Management, Facility Management, Digital Transformation, IT, and Indirect Procurement. He has strengthened the Group’s finance infrastructure since 2000, led SAP ERP implementation in 2009, and established finance operations in Iraq, Ghana, and Uganda, including Mansco Peugeot and Mansour MG.

Marwa El Ayouti

Group Chief Strategy Officer 

Marwa El Ayouti is the Chief Strategy Officer at Mansour Automotive Group and a seasoned senior finance and strategy executive with over 25 years of international experience. She previously served as CFO for PepsiCo North Africa, Vodafone Egypt, and Orange Egypt, where she led large-scale, multi-billion-dollar operations and organizations exceeding 5,000 employees.

Marwa is recognized for her strong leadership in financial and strategic transformation, with a proven track record of transforming underperforming businesses into profitable, cash-generating entities. Her expertise spans financial & strategic planning, treasury, supply chain management, and cross-functional leadership across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia in telecommunications & FMCG.

She has been ranked among Forbes’ Top 200 Most Powerful Arab Women and has served on the boards of several listed and international companies. A results-driven leader, Marwa is known for driving sustainable growth and enhancing shareholder value in highly competitive markets.

Tarek Atta

CEO Mansour Filter Manufacturing 

Tarek Atta is High-profile automotive business leader with 39 years of professional experience in successfully setting up and leading General Motor’s manufacturing capabilities in Egypt where he rose to Chairman and Managing Director, currently serving as Vice-Chairman of Mac for Mobility Manufacturing, in addition to CEO of Mansour Filter Manufacturing. 

Visionary thinker with a global perspective and a rich business acumen excelling at maximizing corporate performance across different functions. Inspirational role-model invested in building, leading, and mentoring high performing and cohesive teams.

Wael Ammar

Managing Director MAC For Mobility Manufacturing 

Wael Ammar is a seasoned manufacturing and supply chain leader with 35+ years of experience in various industries, currently Managing Director at MAC For Mobility Manufacturing. His distinguished career includes over 20 years at General Motors Egypt, during which he served as Global Purchasing & Supply Chain Director. Wael is credited with developing a world-class local supply base and leading through major economic shifts, including the EGP flotation, while achieving record-breaking production in 2014. His expertise also extends to the pharmaceutical sector with leadership roles at Pfizer KSA and GlaxoSmithKline.

A Mechanical Engineer graduated from Ain Shams University, Wael’s background is bolstered by elite training through Emerging Global Leadership programs at GM and Harvard Business School. Fluent in Arabic, English, and French, Wael pairs technical mastery with strategic mindset. Beyond his professional life, Wael enjoys music, volunteering, reading and travel.

Ahmad Ameen

Group Chief Human Resources Officer 

Ahmad Tamer Ameen is a experienced executive with over 25 years of HR experience across Africa and the Middle East. As the Chief Human Resources Officer for Almansour Automotive Group, he leads operations in seven countries, including Egypt, UAE, and Ghana. Ahmad has modernized the group’s HR function through digital transformation, performance-linked cultures, and strategic role designs with Korn Ferry.

Previously, he spent 13 years as a Partner at ProMark Ltd., consulting for government, oil and gas, and financial sectors. Ahmad holds a Bachelor’s from Ain Shams University and is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management. A certified analyst and corporate governance consultant, he is currently based in Cairo, where he focuses on aligning people strategies with business growth.

Khaled Youssef

Managing Director | BYD  

Khaled Youssef is a seasoned business leader with over 30 years of experience in the Egyptian automotive sector. Currently serving as CEO & Board Member for BYD Egypt (ManDream), and previously as CEO for Peugeot Egypt while leding the brand to its highest sales record in two decades, securing its position as the #1 European brand in Egypt within three years. His career includes a 12-year tenure at EIM (Renault & KIA Motors), where he consistently built high-performing teams and lean operations.

A Cairo University graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce, Khaled holds certifications from VW, Audi AG, and Fiat. He is an active member of AMIC and the American & French Chambers of Commerce.

Medhat Awad

Managing Director | Opel/Peugeot  

Medhat Awad is a seasoned automotive executive with over 20 years of experience leading operations across Egypt, Africa, and the Gulf. As Managing Director for Opel and Peugeot, he drives strategic performance across sales, aftersales, and marketing with a focus on profitability. At Al Mansour Automotive Group, he has been instrumental in scaling regional growth and strengthening partnerships with global OEMs like ISUZU and General Motors.

Known for his financial acumen and P&L management, Medhat previously led a major turnaround at MCV South Africa, quintupling revenues. He holds a degree from Misr International University and completed the Senior Leaders’ Programme at IIM Ahmedabad. Based in Cairo, he is recognized for building high-performing teams and navigating complex markets through agile, data-driven strategies.

Mohamed El Sheikh

Managing Director | MG/IM 

Mohamed El Sheikh a results-driven leader with over 20 years of expertise in the automotive industry. Currently Business Director MG/IM at Mansour Automotive Group, he led the MG to become the #1 CBU brand in Egypt within just three years. His extensive background includes 12 years with Chevrolet and Opel, where he served as East Cairo Operations Business Unit Head and managed critical functions including product planning, network development, and CRM.

He holds an MBA from the University of Northampton and a Bachelor of Commerce from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology. Mohamed’s career is marked by his ability to leverage market opportunities and drive strategic growth across diverse automotive brands.

Sameh Ramadan

Brand Director | Chevrolet 

Sameh Ramadan is a distinguished automotive leader with over 15 years of experience in Supply Chain, engineering, and manufacturing. Currently serving as the Brand Director for Chevrolet, he oversees sales, marketing, and aftersales operations. Previously, as Supply Chain General Manager at Mansour Automotive, he managed end-to-end Group vehicle flows and led major digital transformation and Logistics services projects. His career includes a significant tenure at Schneider Electric, where he managed the ETO Downstream planning, optimized S&OP cycles and managed large-scale logistics Operations across complex Supply Chain networks.

He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Ain-Shams University and is pursuing an MBA at ESLSCA Business School. With international certifications in Advanced Warehouse Management, Six Sigma Green Belt and Project Management.

Sascha Van Ryssen

Managing Director | Cadillac  

Sascha van Ryssen is the General Manager of Cadillac Egypt at Al Mansour Automotive, based in Cairo. He brings extensive experience in the premium automotive sector, with deep expertise in sales and marketing strategy, distribution network development, and retail transformation. His leadership focuses on strengthening brand positioning and delivering modern luxury retail experiences.

Prior to his current role, Sascha held several senior leadership positions at Mercedes-Benz, including Managing Director and Director of Sales & Marketing in Egypt, as well as Head of Distribution Network Development for the Middle East. With international experience spanning Europe, Southeast Asia, and the MENA region, he is recognized for driving growth and elevating customer-centric automotive strategies.

Eslam Hamed

Group Aftersales Director 

Eslam Abdel Hamed is a distinguished automotive leader and current Aftersales Director for Mansour Automotive Group, with over 22 years of high-impact experience. Since 2018, he has architected Peugeot’s expansion, overseeing 16 state-of-the-art facilities and achieving the highest customer satisfaction ratings for Stellantis brands across the MEA region. His career includes a historic "Green Audit" rating at General Motors Egypt and technical mastery as a certified Cotech at Renault Egypt.

A strategic visionary, Eslam is currently pioneering wholesale business models for parts and commodities. He holds a B.Eng. from Helwan University and an MBA from Northampton University, supported by elite certifications from AUC and GM Middle East. Fluent in three languages and a former professional athlete, he brings competitive discipline to the boardroom. Outside of work, he is an avid traveler and dedicated reader.

Muhammed Muharram

Chief Information Officer 

Muhammed Moharram is a seasoned technology leader with over 30 years of experience in the field. He currently serves as Group Chief Information Officer at Al-Mansour Group, where he leads enterprise IT operations across Egypt and international offshore territories. In this role, he aligns technology initiatives with business priorities, ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery.

He brings deep expertise in strategic IT planning, digital transformation, and infrastructure development. His work focuses on leveraging technology to drive business growth, enhance operational efficiency, and foster innovation, while shaping and executing long-term IT strategy across the organization.

Abdallah Ismail

Chief Internal Audit Officer 

Abdallah Ismail is a high-profile governance expert with 25+ years of expertise, currently serving as Chief Internal Audit Officer of Mansour Automotive Group. His distinguished career is defined by extensive experience in various sectors like Banking, Audit firms, Automotive, Real Estate, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, and Technology. He used to work in Egypt, Kuwait, and UAE.

He is an MBA holder and Certified Internal Auditor from the Institute of Internal Auditors in Florida, USA. A visionary mentor, Abdallah has excelled in Corporate Governance, Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Control, Internal Audit, and Strategic Management.
