Cairo –23 June 2021: In
presence of Eng. Adel Khadel, Group CEO, Ankush Arora, Company’s COO & Hany
Megahed, Body & Paint Manager, Mansour Automotive Company has inaugurated
one of the largest body and paint facility in the industrial area of Abu
Rawash, with investments worth more than EGP 150m. The new facility is part of
the company’s plan to develop and expand its services network of sales,
maintenance, and service centers, with more than 100 centers across the
country. With the latest technologies and after-sales quality
service, the center is set to change the scene of body and paint facilities in
Egypt.
In 2017, Mansour Automotive announced
its 5 years investment plan with more than EGP 800m for enhancing and expanding
sales and after sale service facilities. This plan was set to initiate a series
of projects to enhance customer experience in the country and ensure continuous
growth of the company’s portfolio of services in the long term.
The flagship center spans over an
approximate area of 11,000 sqm, including offices of 15 insurance companies –
out of a total of 19 in
Egypt – In addition, insurance inspectors for
preferred companies will be present to reduce waiting time for pre and post
inspections, offering 360 degree service to customers.
The facility’s workforce reaches up to 120 staff member and is fully equipped with the latest automotive
technologies, along with an independent entity built solely to train
technicians and engineers on body repair and painting. This is in addition to a
host of technical specialized knowledge sharing through a lecture auditorium
and an integrated automotive technical library. The center hosts a state of the
art paint factory, and a welding workshop to ensure fine automotive
technologies are applied in every framework of the center’s capabilities. Moreover, the facility introduced
a colossal luxury break area for clients, with all forms of comfort to make
their experience one-of-a-kind as they await their services to be completed.

quality of customer care and after-sales services to our clients,” Group CEO
Adel Khadr stated. He continued with Mansour's motto, "You are in safe
hands," asserting that it always confirmed the true value of the company's
customer service, adding, "The new facility has huge production
capabilities of a factory."
With a capacity of 68 bays,
the facility can supply 30 cars daily whilst the workshop has four
manufacturing lines, two of which are for light repairs and have a maximum
completion rate of two days. It was outfitted with the high-end equipment, such
as dry central sanders and IR dryers, to reduce repair time while separating
the repair procedures into sequential stages, with each car line coming out
every hour and a half
The other two lines are for
medium repairs with completion rate of 3-6 days. It is equipped with all of the
cutting-edge technology required to perform all repairs with high quality, such
as two car chassis straightening devices, two electronic car
chassis measuring devices, and welding machines of various types, as well as the necessary safety tools for
technicians during repair.
It also has two separate manufacturing lines
for the paint phases, with the mechanical and electrical repairs separated from
the paint owing to the varied repair durations for each care, which is a new
trend in body and paint repair centers across the world for manufacturing
lines.
Mansour Automotive Company
was eager to provide the light truck workshop with the most up-to-date
equipment for high-quality vehicle repairs, such as wheel alignment, an
automatic tyre changer, and a chassis straightener capable of straightening the
chassis of three cars at the same time. The gadget has built-in measurement
units to assure the quality and speed of repairs. Furthermore, a variety of
welding machines, paint preparation units suited for light truck or passenger
vehicles, and two paint booths, one for passenger cars and the other for light
trucks, are available, as are the essential safety tools for technical
colleagues during the repair.
Furthermore, Mansour
Automotive has provided the new center with a workshop for heavy accidents,
which is designed to accommodate Jumbo truck with its box, and the line has
been expanded with a 9-meter-deep furnace.
The new facility comprises a two-story warehouse spanning 1500 sqm for body and
paint repairs equipment which includes about 2,000 line items to meet the
demands of the service center as quickly as possible, for all Mansour
Automotive brands such as Chevrolet, Opel, MG, and Peugeot.
The new center operates on the SAP system,
which connects all departments in an orderly and efficient manner to give the
required information and data to the customer reception department and the
Insurance Department on a constant basis in order to ease automobile repairing
operations. Furthermore, it enables the facility to receive all missing
products from the main warehouse in 6th October city on a daily basis from
All other variables, such as
the compressed air line and the intensity of illumination for each section,
were evaluated throughout the design and construction of the facility. It was
also outfitted with PDR cold plumbing technology, a novel European method of
responding to shocks and clicks without the need to paint.
Khadr emphasized that the
inauguration of this facility is a continuation of Mansour Automotive Company's
leadership in the Egyptian market and its customers' confidence through
providing its consumers with every means of comfort and safety.
